1) The Alphabet consists of 26 letters, from A to Z. Vowels are A,E,I,O,U and Y. Consonants are 2) B,C,D,F,G,H,J,K,L,M,N,P,Q,R,S,T,V,W,X,Y and Z. Yes Y can :be both.
2) Vowels are soft; and can be short or long while consonants are loud.
3) A Syllable means a sound in a word. A word can have a single syllable or up to six. This will be important when intonation is used.
4) Vocabulary means words we use in the language.
C can be soft and will sound like an S; or it can be hard and will sound like a K.
G can also be soft or hard. Soft G will sound like a J.
